Position: Controls Engineer
Number of positions: 3

Location: Oak Park, MI and various other unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Plan, design, test and debug automation equipment and conveyors in order to establish and verify production processes in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Design, maintain and update controls documentation, including print packages, BOM’s etc.
Review and make PLC program changes on Steeple Chase, Siemen’s, Rockwell, ControlLogix & other PLC programs.
Work with Supervisors/IT group to evaluate, modify, update machine/assembly PLC programs and obtain approval for program changes.
Investigate and resolve issues associated with assembly automation, work stations, robotics, and automated equipment.
Required Skills/Qualification:
PLC programming proficiency – Siemens and/ E-plan and/or Rockwell and/or Steeple Chase and/or ControlLogix
Auto Cad experience nice to have
Min 3 years of experience in manufacturing, controls engineering, or related field required.
Robotics, Machining, Assembly lines and Conveyor Experience nice to have

Position: Mechanical Engineer
Number of positions: 2
Duration: Long-term/Direct Hire (2)
Location: Oak Park, MI with frequent travel to Indianapolis for the first 6-8 months.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Design custom machinery, automotive tooling and custom testing equipment.
Design robotic end effectors, pick and place, product transfer and indexing systems
Design weldments, extruded structures, conveyor systems and lift assists
Interact with manufacturing to revise, design, detail drawings and prints for fabrication/assembly
Interface with customer (both internal and external), be part of line up meetings and design reviews.
Investigate and resolve issues associated with assembly automation, work stations, robotics, and automated equipment.
Required Skills/Qualification:
Solidworks proficiency
Solidworks PDM works
Solidworks advanced modeling
Basic knowledge of UniGraphics / Catia

Position: Operations Manager
Number of positions: 1
Duration: Long-term/Direct Hire (1)
Location: Oak Park, MI and various other unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop procedures and controls to help organization achieve its goals of growth and productivity.
Perform Engineering cost benefit analysis, cycle time studies, analyze work flow and report findings for redesign with recommendations to improve quality of service, efficiency and reduce operating expenses using industrial engineering techniques such as value stream mapping (VSM), Value Engineering, linear Optimization’s etc.
Understand and help the organization comply with quality standards such as ISO 9000 and TS 16949 along with any other customer specifics. Present budgets at board meetings and provide reports/analysis for strategic business decision making using excel tools such as pivot tables and slicers.
Lead/participate in the design and development of new products, including developing FMEA’s (D-FMEA, P-FMEA ) and APQP plans as required for these. Develop testing and validation procedures for new products including the design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC) using excel and/or minitab.
Lead the development and maintenance of software solutions aimed at managing materials, costs and schedules developed using Java and involving architectural / process / database design.
Conduct training/workshops for new employees and also distributors on various products and services.
Required Skills/Qualification:
Education: Masters - Industrial Engineering or in a related field of study (will accept foreign degree);
Experience: One (1) year in the above referenced position or as an Industrial Engineer;
Must have experience with VSM, Value Engineering, DOE, SPC, FMEA, APQP, ISO 9000, TS 16949 and Java.
Will also accept any equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and/or work experience.
