The company was formed and founded by (Richard) Dick Kerwin in 1984. Dick has been in the controls industry for over 40 years with a background in metal cutting and assembly systems.

Dick was the head of controls for LAMB machine tools division from 1968 to 1973. From 1973 to 1978 he was head of daily operations for DJ Engineering.

In 1978 Dick formed OSHA Inc. with a partner and in 1984 Dick independently formed ARKK Engineering Inc.

Even today, Dick is at the office everyday and oversees the operations of the company. Now his son, Kevin Kerwin is the managing director and CEO.

The company started as a small controls engineering provider and today has client list with names such as GM, Ford, Chrysler, Pfizer.
